Basic Life Support (BLS)
The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers course teaches healthcare professionals how to perform one- and two-person CPR on patients of all ages, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and manage choking emergencies. After successfully completing the skills test and post-course assessment, participants will receive an AHA Healthcare Provider course completion card, valid for two years. Having the current textbook is required for this course. If you already own a copy or have access to one before, during, and after class, you do not need to purchase a new book. However, you must bring the book to class.
